When I click the add product key button and choose “Float Server Key” it shows a warning to disable VM activation. Why is it so?
Suppose your user buys a float server key with VM activation enabled. The user can create many cloned VM’s which will have the same fingerprint. Now, the user can activate FloatServer on all the VM’s and start the servers on all of them, which should be definitely prevented.
Hence, you should always disable VM activation for float server keys.
