Using Cryptlex for library licensing

A very general question, so I searched the archives, but w/o success : I was wondering if LexActivator could be used to control the use of a (C++) library. Would there be a need to activate the use of the library only once per system, or could it be per application that uses it?

That would also imply that ours customers should link their applications against libLexActivator.so. Is this even allowed?

We have some customers using our library to license their own SDKs. You will typically expose a function in your SDK to set the license key and then activate it per machine.

Yes, it is allowed to link the library.
