Unable to search for license when email contains + character

One of our customers has an email address with a + character in it.
For example “firstname.lastname+123@example.com”.

In the cryptlex portal, its not possible to find their licenses using the search feature.
Even if I do a broad search on just “firstname”, their licenses are not listed.
