The LexActivator API seems oriented around node-locked trials only. Is it possible to activate a floating license trial? And if so, how ought they to be configured?

We don’t offer trials in case of floating license. The purpose of trial is to check the product and it can be done using node-locked too.
In case, you want to offer floating trial, you can create a floating license key with validity set to 30 days.
