Our released software has on two occasions issued this error when a client enters their key: “The difference between the network time and the system time is more than allowed clock offset” In one case he tried again a while later and everything worked. In the second case we are still waiting to see if it resolves itself. We tried to increase our ‘Allowed Clock Offset’ as a temporary work around but this error persists.
Are the clients using NTP to sync times? I ran into this when time was off by 2 minutes on the client
For these licenses you will need to increase the value of allowed clock offset by few minutes, as the customer’s system is not keeping the correct time.
