Should I use unverified trial

My users aren’t likely to snoop around in hidden files or format their PC just to get another 30 days. I’m really trying avoid them having to obtain an activation key for a Trial and then get another for the full version.

My main goal here is to prevent users from installing and using the same key on multiple machines.

Is it easy for the typical layman to locate and remove the trial data?
Hi,

Seems like you have a confusion. Unlike product keys, you only have a single trial key on trial activations page which you hard code in the application. User cannot differentiate between a verified or unverified trial.
Also you can track each trial activation of your users, see graphs in the dashboard etc. These features are not available for unverified trials. Also trial extension is only supported for verified trials.

If you are not concerned about trial reset than it's ok to use the unverfied trial.

It's definitely not easy for a typical layman to locate and remove the trial data. It's securely hidden and encrypted.
