Shorter license codes in v3?

V2 licenses codes were shorter than V3 ones, and I’m getting push-back from a few of our distributors who print the codes for sale with physical devices, because users are complaining about the length.

Is there an option in the API to control the code format or length, or would I have to generate them myself?

You can generate license keys yourself in any format and with shorter length. I would recommend using GUIDv4 function of the script language you use for generating license keys.
