In some cases, we want to set ServerCheck period shorter than a day in order to have more control about license remotely. e.g.) If those period is set to a day, invalidating license on Cryptlex site can take up to a day to apply to customer’s machine.
Is there any specific reason, it cannot be set shorter than a day? Something short like hourly server check, every 3 hours server check, it would be great.
The API by design restricts frequency to be set in days. Setting it in seconds would allow easy abuse of our services.
Yeah, it is not necessarily to be settable by seconds, but little shorter like by hour instead of by day.
Even if the server sync happens every hour, or every 3 hours, is it still too frequent for you guys??
The current API expects days in integer, it would require a new API for seconds, hours is not any standard unit.
Got it . How about, at some point in the near future, supporting seconds as a new API method, and set the minimum acceptable interval as 3600 seconds (=1hour)?
