Running LexFloatingServer on cloud service such as AWS/Azure

Hello,

Our customer wants to install our software on cloud service such as AWS or Azure.
So, we’re thinking to use floating license for our software.

In such situation, is that good idea to install LexFloatingServer on the cloud as well?
Or, LexFloatingServer should install on physical machine to avoid cloning?

I’d like to know your recommendation based on your experiences.

Please let me know.

Hi,

LexFloatingServer should never be installed on a VM . It should be a physical machine otherwise it can be used to lease unlimited licenses just by starting a new cloned instance.
