Hello,
We have the same issue for years now, after a few months (6 or 8 months) our customers using the offline activation mode lose their licence. In this case they have to create a new offline activation request from our application and load the new offline activation file. Is there a parameter somewhere that I can use to avoid this issue?
Dear @Sebastien_PARISOT
Thank you for reaching out.
To help us better understand and investigate the issue, could you please clarify what you mean by the license being lost?
In particular, could you kindly share the following details:
- What does
IsLicenseGenuine() returns when the issue occurs?
- Is this happening for all of your customers using offline activation, or only for some customers?
- Could you provide some details about the affected environments, such as the operating system and the version of LexActivator being used?
We have not received any similar reports from other customers using offline activation so far. These additional details would help us better understand the issue and investigate it further.
Best regards,
Anees
Hello @AneesKhan
Thank you for your answer, unfortunately the result of IsLicenceGenuine() is not available in the log of ours applications. We will add it, but this will take a year to get the first feeback of our customers… This happens for all our customers using offline activation, and with all version of LexActivator. We have this issues for years now, it is not OS dependant.
Is there a specific validity period for an offline licence?
Could you please confirm which version of LexActivator you are currently using? We had an issue where license data could get invalidated on Windows and Linux, and it was fixed in LexActivator 3.42.1. So if you are on anything older than that, upgrading to 3.42.1 or above should take care of it.
Do let us know how it goes, and we will be glad to dig deeper if you still see the issue after upgrading.
Thank you for the information.
We were using the version 3.32.3, we will try with the last one.
