LexActivator.dll flagged as virus

Hi,

I am adding cryptlex to a python product for license management, I used pip to install the library, used pyinstaller to package the software into an exe with the LexActivator.dll, everything works fine locally. However when I tested the software in another computer, the anti-virus software (symantec) immediately quarantined the .dll (or the exe if the dll is packaged within) . The threat found was WS.Reputation.1.

May I ask is there anyway to work around this?

for more information, i have tested with various virus scanners, the only one that is causing the problem is symantec endpoint protection

Hi Amy,

We will look into this, as work around you can ask your customer to trust this file on their machines.
