Lease duration set by license policy vs. config

For on-premise floating license, what is the difference between the lease duration value set by a license policy and the “leaseduration” value specified in the LexFloatServer config? It seems to me that the value set by the issuer of the license should essentially be the max, and a customer can select a value no greater than that (if they so choose). However, in my particular testing scenario, the value in the config appears to be ignored, and the value set by the license policy dictates the renewal schedule. Am I missing something? Just curious what the intended difference is between these two values.

Thanks

If you set lease duration value to zero for the license then lexfloatserver uses the lease duration value from the config file. Hence you can let your customer set the value for lease duration or you can enforce it yourself.

Great, thank you for clearing that up!
