If the user changes the date forward and then back, the LexActivator throws an exception with the LA_E_TIME_MODIFIED code.
The behavior is always the same, it doesn’t matter whether the license was activated or not.
What can be done in this case to return the system to the working state?
In theory, if the time has tampered, the license should become inactive on the machine. And the user can de-activate it and activate it again. But it’s impossible to check the real license status - if the license was activated or not, and suggest to deactivate the license.
