Allowed activations vs Total activations

Hi,
I’m using node-locked license with several seats for each license.
How can we have the ‘Total Activations’ number greater than the ‘Allowed Activations’?
This is the first time I running into this issue, and for this specific license, we enabled container use as it is a requirement for this user. Does it help?

Hi Pat,

This is possible (something we cannot avoid). Let’s say you allowed 10 activations and 12 machines sent the activation request simultaneously, then there is a chance that all will succeed. But this happens rarely because it requires perfect timing.

You can delete the extra activations which will automatically remove it from those machines on server sync.
