Here is my thought process

I am considering packaging my software as a container e.g. Docker or Apptainer.

I would like my customers using the container to be able to spin up as many container instances e.g. via Kurbenetes, without needing to know in advance what the limit is.

Each customer will have their own unique license but within their site/location/domain-name, they can spin up as many as they need for their work.

If your app has access to the internet, you should use hosted-floating license in this case. Alternatively, you can also use LexFloatServer for this use case, which should support offline scenarios too.
