with a test program that generally works fine on my machine, I get error 92 (client error) on ActivateLicense() when I run it on a different machine. What does it mean? What can I do to troubleshoot?
The program is written in C and linked statically to the LexActivator library.

Can you confirm the version of LexActivator library you are using? This mostly happens due to encoding issues.
Just downloaded, GetLibraryVersion() returns 3.20.9.
What is the system language on the other machine, and which OS are you using? Also please share the license key at support@cryptlex.com

I have found and solved the problem, it was totally my fault. I am experiencing a different problem on the portal, though, that I have submitted to support@cryptlex.com.
