Total activations/deactivations

I am testing some things related to licenses. I created a license for testing with 1 activation and 1 deactivation allowed. I activated the license then deactivated the license. I checked if it was valid and it was invalid as it should be at this point. Then I activated the same license again and to my surprise it activated. I tried to validate and it is valid. Why does it allow an activation after a deactivation when I set it to 1 total activations?

I think you are confused with total activations. Actually, the total number of activations means the total number of machines where the license can be activated and not the number of times the license can be activated.
